Katy had the honour of being asked to create a symbolic panel for a lovely client. The flowers were picked in a woodland filled with bluebells in memory of a much-loved sister and daughter who sadly passed away a few years ago. I preserved the special parcel of bluebells, wild garlic and dead nettle into this large-scale panel. I also made a smaller set of ovals as a gift from my client to her parents in memory of a much-missed daughter and sister. It was an absolute honour and privilege to be trusted with these precious flowers and turn them into artworks to commemorate and celebrate a wonderful life.
